The Capless Raden combines this innovation with the natural beauty captured in traditional Japanese lacquerware, inspired by the light-reflecting opulence of the ocean. Using a Japanese decorative technique called ‘Raden’, iridescent abalone shells are hand-cut and hand-laid into Urushi lacquer.
